Monday: Rest. Done!
Tuesday: Walk 3 miles. Sort of done -- Colin and I went for a walk after work and it was such a blah day. We gave up after 2 miles.
Wednesday: Cross train for 15 minutes. Not done. I can't seem to get it together to cross train for this amount of time. It doesn't seem worth it or something.
Thursday: Walk 5 miles. Done! Two people in my office told me later that they'd seen me out walking. I think they tried to wave, but between my headphones and determination, I was never going to notice.
Friday: Cross train for 30 minutes. Nope, not done. We left to spend the weekend with Colin's family in Ohio after dinner, and I got caught up with the getting ready stuff.
Saturday: Walk 6 miles. Done! Colin mapped out a route in his hometown, and told me all about the neighborhoods and growing up there during the walk. It was as much fun as 6 miles can be.
Sunday: Walk 5 miles. Done! I headed out as soon as we got back from Ohio. I desperately wanted to stop after 4 miles, but somehow managed to push through it.

Week 19 recap.
Week 20 recap.
Monday: Rest. Done, of course.
Tuesday: Walk 3 miles. This 3 miles was a big accomplishment for me. We had to get up at 5:30 a.m. to drive down to Ohio for a funeral, and it was a long and sad day. Everyone left fairly quickly after all was said and done, and we were home by 7:00. After a quick dinner, I stretched and headed out for my walk. I probably really needed it.
Wednesday: Cross train for 15 minutes. Um, not done.
Thursday: Walk 4 miles. Done, although I have no memory of it...
Friday: Cross train for 30 minutes. Done! I hadn't been to the gym in forever, it felt like anyway, and it was great to go back.
Saturday: Walk 6 miles. I knew I was going to have to go in to work in the afternoon, so I left for my walk around 9:30 that morning. This was the longest walk to date, so I was a tiny bit nervous. I stretched at the halfway point, and it really helped me get through the second half. It was a nice, cool spring day and I felt really good afterward.
Sunday: Walk 4 miles. Another accomplishment. I had to work between 5 and 6 hours this day, and left my walking until after I was done. Luckily, I still managed to get myself out the door.

Thanks, Tammy!

This is my friend Tammy modeling her brand-new Maggie Walks baseball jersey tee. She looks fabulous, yes? Yes.
Week 21 recap.
Monday: Rest. Not done! Mollie and I walked to get iced lattes from Caribou and when we got home, we checked the mileage on the Gmap Pedometer. 1.75 miles -- and it felt like nothing!
Tuesday: Walk 3 miles. Check! Colin came with me and we tried out a different 3-mile route. He wasn't a fan of the first part of the route we have been doing, so I mixed it up for him.
Wednesday: Rest. Check! It was Colin's birthday and we had a quiet night in.
Thursday: Walk 4 miles. I actually walked 5 miles. Unsure why, I think I just had some aggression to work out.
Friday: Cross-train for 30 minutes. I tried! I walked to the gym, feeling pretty good about myself. Until I got there. Closed! A sign on the door stated that they had to close early due to a scheduling conflict. What bad luck! Well, at least I got in the 1-mile walk, round trip.
Saturday: Walk 5 miles. Colin and I got up early and walked 4 miles together. We planned on seeing a movie before heading out to Grosse Pointe for my friend's wedding. That was a fun night. Too much fun...
Sunday: Walk 4 miles. I felt sick all day and couldn't manage to get up and moving. Monty and I slept and watched Sex and the City until Colin got home from work and took care of me. So sweet.
Maggie and mug.

I realized today that I hadn't posted a photo of me and my Maggie Walks mug. I think it's because I took it to work to use there, and I never have my camera there. Until today! You may also notice that I'm wearing a Maggie Walks hoodie. My mom ordered the wrong size and didn't want to return it, so I got it! Yay. :)
Week 22 recap.
Monday: Rest. No problem.
Tuesday: Walk 3 miles. I wrote down that I did this, but I have no memory of it...
Wednesday: Rest. Okey-dokey. Rest it is.
Thursday: Walk 4 miles. This did not happen. I got stuck at work until laaaaaaaaaaate. The most walking I got done was to and fro in the building, picking up and dropping off my work. It IS a big building, so who knows?
Friday: Cross-train for 30 minutes. This also did not get done. I was wrecked after working laaaaaaaaaate on Thursday, and we had planned to go out to Grosse Pointe to see Mollie and her boyfriend. We drove around giving Kevin a tour, and had a nice dinner out. Then my dad treated everyone to coffee, brandy and cigars on the back porch. Nice.
Saturday: Walk 5 miles. Done and done! I was proud that I got back on the horse after missing two days. Woo-hoo!
Sunday: Walk 3 miles. I actually walked 5 miles this day, trying to make up for missing Thursday. Mollie was still in town, so she came with and we had a great time. Now, Mollie is an experienced walker and is used to more varied terrain than I am. But we had no trouble matching our paces! This training thing is working!
Blerg.
Sorry for radio silence as of late, life has been getting in the way of blogging about life. Seriously.
But have no fear! I have a date with Blogger tonight, and I intend to keep it! I'll recap the last two weeks of training and post photos of my friend Tammy, who bought the baseball jersey tee from the Maggie Walks store.
